The opportunity: esports streaming platform that brings everything together
Tier-1 esports gets most of the attention, with packed arenas, big audiences, and major sponsors. But the lower-tier esports markets are huge, too. Millions of competitive players, active communities, and brands that want to get involved, all without the same support behind them.
The founder and CEO of Next Talent Inc., the company behind the development of Nxte.app, Justin Manley, noticed it. He observed that those players also needed a home to compete, build community, and turn their identities into real value. He saw brands wanted to sponsor events but couldn’t track ROI across fragmented tools. And he knows streamers, especially competitive gamers who just want to play, need a workflow so simple they’d never have to think about it. So, together with his team, they started to build Nxte.app, the platform that brings everything together, from streaming and competition to brand partnerships, league management, and analytics. Time-to-market is key for them; to make it happen fast, they needed a technology partner who could deliver live streaming, restreaming, branded overlays, and analytics as one integrated stack.

The solution: one technology partner for future-proof solutions
Dolby OptiView provided the exact suite of streaming solutions Nxte.app needed. With Dolby OptiView Streaming, players can start a live stream from any device directly on the Nxte platform. With the re-streaming feature, that same stream pushes simultaneously to their personal social channels (YouTube, Twitch, and more) without requiring a background in OBS or vMix. The live clipping feature allows Nxte to create instant replays and real-time social highlights in upcoming phases.
Dolby’s technology delivers everything we’ve envisioned. Turning an ambitious concept into reality is never easy, but from our first conversation to a working beta, the experience was so smooth. The SDK access, the support, the ongoing product improvements, it just keeps making our platform stronger,” said Justin Manley, the founder of Next Talent Inc.

For brand partnerships, Nxte uses Dolby OptiView’s image overlay feature to automate sponsor placements. When a brand sponsors an event on Nxte.app, their assets are automatically populated across every participating player’s stream. Brands then get consolidated analytics covering reach, views, click-throughs, and promo code conversions, finally giving sponsors the ROI visibility they care most about.
The results
Fast time-to-market: integrated in 8 weeks
From the very first conversation with Dolby OptiView to a fully functional livestream beta, Nxte was up and running in roughly eight weeks. With access to Dolby’s SDKs and hands-on support, the Nxte team smoothly integrated real-time streaming, restreaming, and branded overlays into their larger platform. Nxte.app is now gearing up for a full public launch targeted for the end of Q4 2026, transitioning from private, event-by-event access to open self-serve signups.
A successful initial event
Recently, Nxte put their Dolby-powered platform to the test at a Call of Duty activation with EWG (Elite Warfare Gaming) at the University of North Florida, and the response exceeded expectations. Viewership analytics were much higher than expected, with over 10,000 views over the course of a two-day event with 20+ hours of streaming. Twitter impressions surged post-event, bringing a wave of new followers pouring in from the Call of Duty community. The buzz led to multiple esports organizations reaching out about onboarding, along with extensive content and footage captured to fuel future go-to-market efforts.

Simplicity for streamers and brands
“Simplicity is key,” said Justin. For streamers, the experience needs to be frictionless. Hit stream on Nxte.app and you’re live, with simultaneous restreaming to your own social channels, no third-party software needed. Real-time score overlays are already live, with admins entering scores in Nxte’s console, which instantly updates the on-stream graphics. It’s the kind of simplicity that keeps players coming back and gives sponsors confidence in every dollar spent.

Looking ahead
With a successful first event behind it and a public launch coming at the end of Q4 2026, Nxte is just getting started, and it’s in good company. Dolby OptiView also powers esports leaders like Riot Games and SIS. Built to deliver live streams to massive audiences, Dolby OptiView gives Nxte the foundation to scale from day one and keep growing as esports does. Together, Nxte and Dolby OptiView are making esports easier for players to share and for communities to connect.
