🐛 Issues​

  • Fixed Android builds failing with Could not resolve com.theoplayer.theoplayer-sdk-android:core and Repository ... is disabled due to earlier error with recent Gradle releases such as 8.14.6. The connector still declared the defunct comscore.bintray.com Maven repository, whose SSL failure newer Gradle versions no longer ignore; the Comscore SDK is resolved from Maven Central.

  • Fixed Android builds failing with Dependency 'com.comscore:android-analytics:6.16.0' requires ... compile against version 37 or later of the Android APIs on apps compiled against android-36. The connector's floating 6.+ dependency now defaults to 6.15.+, staying below the version that declares minCompileSdk=37, which is unsupported by current Android Gradle plugin releases. Apps that already target a newer compileSdk can still override via THEOplayerComscore_comscoreVersion.

  • Fixed a Gradle configuration failure on Android Gradle Plugin 9, where the connector's explicit kotlin-android plugin collided with AGP's built-in Kotlin support and failed with Cannot add extension with name 'kotlin'. The plugin is now applied only when nothing has registered the kotlin extension yet, so AGP 8 is unaffected.
